Silica gel desiccant is a highly active adsorption material. It is usually made of reacting with sodium silicate and sulfuric acid, aging as well as acid bubble.
Silicate belongs to the amorphous substances. The chemical formula is mSiO2·nH2O.
It is insoluble in water and any solvents. Non-poisonous and tasteless, chemical stability. It won’t react with any materials except alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Various types of silica gel for its manufacturing methods are different and form different micro porous structure. It determines that Silicone is superior to other similar material as its chemical tissue and physical structure. High adsorption performance, good thermal stability, chemical stability, high mechanical strength.
Saturation Level
Saturation refers to desiccant has sucked enough .It cannot adsorb no amount of moisture. Balance capacity means desiccant from air sucked enough moisture。It makes the moisture vapor capacity of atmosphere more than desiccant moisture-proofing adsorption ability. At this time, a lot of desiccant increased will not reduce the environment of relative humidity
Storage and Package
Silica gel has strong adsorption ability, and therefore should be stored in a dry place. Tabled should be put between packaging and ground. Steel barrel, paper barrel, carton, plastic bottle, polyethylene plastic composite paper, flexible collection bags and so on can be as wrappage. Read product category description for packing specifications in detail. Rain, damp and insolation should be avoided during transportation process.
